Love Your Neighbor is an app that basically combines Yelp and Uber. Eugene, their founder wanted to create a logo design and branding that was simple, memorable, and could stand out among the crowded field of apps.

The solution I came up with was the create a heart turned 90 degrees that made the letter L. Custom typography was also created to complete the logo design.
